Dear Bloxwich Residents,

As our week comes to a close, our team wanted to share a quick update on what your local neighbourhood policing team have been up to. It has been a busy and productive week for the Bloxwich Neighbourhood Team.

✅ Good News from Your Local Policing Team ✅

Our Designated Neighbourhood Officers, PC Walker and PC Sedgwick, have been out conducting high visibility patrols on the new electric bikes! They have been cycling around both Bloxwich West and Bloxwich East, targeting locations that are difficult to access in vehicles, involving the canal, local parks and open green spaces, including Swannies Fields, King George’s Playing Fields and the open space at the back of Glastonbury Crescent.

PCSO Yates has attended the Local Hub on Sneyd Lane for Cuppa with a Copper for a drop-in session to speak with residents.

Both Designated Neighbourhood Officers and Bloxwich Neighbourhood Team Sergeant, PS Greenaway attended the Local Hub on Sneyd Lane for the PACT meeting for Bloxwich West on 10/07/26.

Our team have made arrests for Theft from Shop and have charged and remanded these prolific offenders to appear at Court the next day.

🚨 Crime Prevention Advice🚨

💬 This week we are sharing advice on preventing car and vehicle theft, specifically incidents involving Relay devices.

Luxury car theft is on the rise in the West Midlands. It takes less than 60 seconds for thieves to take your car from your driveway.

If your car has Keyless Entry and Start (PKES), it can be stolen by ‘Relay Attack’

Stop this happening by layering up your security:

Keep your keys in a faraday pouch

Move keys away from doors and windows

Use a steering lock

Check manufacturers guide on keyless entry and alarm systems

If your vehicle is stolen, never put yourself at risk. Call police immediately on 999 if you see it being stolen, or if you discover it has gone you can report it to us online or call 101.
